Privacy Policy — Luzi

Luzi is a family scheduling assistant that works over WhatsApp. A parent sends a message, Luzi works out what belongs in the calendar, and writes it to that parent's Google Calendar.

What is stored

• The parent's WhatsApp phone number — the only identifier; there is no password and no account.
• Family name, city, parent names and children's names, as entered by the parent.
• Messages sent to Luzi and its replies, for operation and fault-finding.
• Events created: title, time, location, and which child they concern.
• The Google Calendar grant, encrypted at rest. We never see or store a Google password.

Google Calendar access

Luzi requests one scope: calendar.events. It can create, update and read events. It cannot create, delete or share calendars, and gives no access to Drive, Gmail, Contacts or any other service. The grant is stored encrypted and can be revoked at any time from Google Account settings.

Third-party processing

• Anthropic — to understand what a message is asking for. Content is not used to train models.
• Google Calendar — to write the event.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — to receive and send messages.
• MongoDB Atlas and Vercel — storage and hosting.

We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

Children

The data includes children's names, schools and where they are expected to be. It is stored per family, and every query in the system is scoped to a single family. Children do not use Luzi and never message it — only parents do.

Deletion

To delete all of your family's data, email the address below from your registered number or email. Deletion completes within 30 days and covers every record. Google Calendar access can be revoked immediately from Google Account settings.
